Stephanie Kozak
Meet Stephanie, the Student Liaison Officer for the ECEE Resource Centre. Stephanie’s role in the ECEERC allows her to communicate with ECEE students directly, via email and in the hallways, to gain feedback and insight into the support students need in their courses.
"Hi everyone! I'm Stephanie - I graduated from the ECEE program in 2013 and subsequently completed my masters and defended my PhD in 2021. I've worked within the Department of Education since 2013, fulfilling many roles (including instructor!). I also tutor children in reading and organize summer reading camps. I'm so excited to work with you all!
Michael Chechile
Meet Michael, the Coordinator of the ECEE Resource Centre and Pedagogical Consultant. Michael's role is to oversee the Centre as well as to assist and purchase materials, and to work with students in guiding them in their development of lessons and in their use of materials.
Hi! I’m Michael. I was the Director General of the Lester B. Pearson School Board 2015-2019. I served as Teacher, Pedagogical Consultant, Vice-Principal, Principal, Director of Educational Services and as Senior Director of Educational Services and Technology. As well, I taught as a graduate and undergraduate lecturer at Concordia University for over 15 years in the field of educational technology. I am here to serve and support the amazing ECEE community!
Isabella Giosi
Meet Isabella, the Mentoring Program Coordinator of the ECEE Resource Centre. Isabella is a 2nd year ECEE student and her role in the ECEE RC is to oversee the Mentoring Program.
"“Hello Everyone!! My name is Isabella and I am a second year in the ECEE program. I am also the new mentorship coordinator for our program. My role is as such that I will be helping first years settle in to university and to our program and also help them build new relationships with our volunteer mentors. I look forward to getting to know our mentors and the first years of the program. ”
Zakiya Patel
Meet Zakiya, the Social Media Coordinator of the ECEE Resource Centre. Zakiya's role in the ECEERC is to be the voice of the Resource Centre’s social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
"Hi! My name is Zakiya and I am a third-year ECEE student. I am the social media coordinator for the Resource Centre’s social media account. I cannot wait to share fun posts with you all this year!"
Ana Martinez
Meet Ana, who started as our first intern at the ECEE Resource Centre. Ana's joined our team to support and update the hiring and onboarding processes at the ECEE RC.
